For over eight years, we have had the honor of documenting weddings for couples who value genuine moments and thoughtful storytelling. Through years of experience working together as a team, we have developed a process that allows photography and film to complement each other beautifully while preserving the atmosphere and emotion of the day.

Tandem is led by Em, whose thoughtful approach to wedding photography blends documentary storytelling with natural, artful portraits. With more than eight years of experience documenting weddings, she focuses on capturing the genuine moments and connections that make each celebration unique.
Tom works alongside Em throughout many weddings, providing support and a second perspective during key moments of the day. Together they create a calm and collaborative presence that allows couples to stay fully present in the experience.
Depending on the scale of the celebration, we may also be joined by a small team of trusted photographers and filmmakers who share the Tandem approach to storytelling. Every member of our team is carefully selected for both their professionalism and their ability to document weddings with care and intention.

mom to Three under three
Yes, you read that right and if you would've told me that three years ago I would've called you crazy to your face!
After having our sweet daughter in 2023, her twin brothers will be making their appearance summer of 2026. When people say our lives are chaotic, they have no idea.
coffee shop owners
We opened our coffee shop, Presidents Coffee, in our town of Gettysburg, PA in Nov. of 2023 (just two weeks before our daughter was born). We have been loving owning such a different business and are super involved in the management. We stay well caffinated.
High School Sweethearts
Tom and I have been together since we were in high school in 2013, We shot our first wedding together that year. We've had a long happy relationship that has spanned long distance, multiple moves, new businesses, and lots of babies. I wouldn't be where I am today without him.
